Tania
Tania grew up bilingual and bicultural between the cities of San Diego and Tijuana. From an early age, she knew that she wanted to work on something related to words: this idea led her to study literature and languages.
Inspired by her favorite Latin American authors, she moved to France, where she lived for a couple of years, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature at the American University of Paris. She also completed the Professional certificate in Translation and Interpretation (English/Spanish) at the University of California, San Diego. A scholar at heart, she recently graduated from UCLA with a Master of Arts in Spanish Studies, where she recently obtained her PhD.
Tania has been working with BeatBabel for the past 10 years in several roles. She started as a translator, moved to project management and is now our clients’ most beloved account manager. She also oversees all Spanish and Latin American teams. Her linguistic skills include English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. She currently studies Italian at the local cultural center and travels to France and Mexico on a regular basis.
