Our team is back from tekom Deutschland and TCworld! This trip to Germany has been both an opportunity to (re)connect with friends and colleagues from the industry and the perfect excuse for an international team reunion.
It has been such a productive week: being able to debate new trends in the localization and translation industry, attending sessions about the latest developments in machine translation, file format standards (.xliff, .json), inclusive language… the list goes on and on! We are thankful to the presenters for offering truly insightful sessions that sparked debates that filled the conversations long after the sessions were over.
The GALA LocMixer also deserves to be mentioned! It was the perfect side event, the cherry on top for closing this wonderful conference experience. Thank you to the almost 50 attendees for joining the LocMixer and creating the perfect environment for geeking out!
It was great to meet up with our Women in Localization colleagues and the CAWEB, TCLoc and Anhalt University of Applied Science students and lecturers.
We also want to thank XTM for offering the best goodies and their delicious chocolates and Kaleidoscope GmbH for the best macchiato coffees; it doesn’t get better than that!
We are already looking forward to meeting all our colleagues and friends again!
